Umami is a Green Tea Matcha making set which consists of 2 types of Green tea, bamboo matcha spoon, whisk, ceramic bowl, cup and saucer, along with a coaster.

The wordmark Umami means "fifth tasting bud". It also means delicious in Japanese. The stroke is symbolization of a sword stroke by a Samurai and since Samurais used to drink this tea, before going to war, the concept statement says “The strength of the Samurai”.

Samurai drank matcha before battle to calm themselves down and to improve their ability to concentrate. They had thought that training for both of their mind and body was critical. They trained physically by using swordplay and trained mentally by utilizing the tea ceremony. Also, it was a symbol of high status in samurai society.
